Henan provincial Weiqi junior training team qualification trial starts

河南省围棋少年集训队选拔赛成功举行

Henan provincial Weiqi junior training team qualification trial started in Zhengzhou Jianzhang Weiqi Museum, Central China's Henan Province, from Feb. 11 to 12. The event contains three groups of 7, 9, and 11 years old, with more than 130 young players from Henan province.

为推动我省围棋运动发展，培养竞技围棋后备人才，2月11-2月12日，河南省围棋协会在郑州建彰围棋博物馆举办了省围棋少年集训队选拔赛。比赛分为7岁组、9岁组、11岁组三个组别，来自全省各地的130余名适龄小棋手，在三个组别展开纹枰对弈。

Tian Haoran in the 7-year-old group kept winning all the first five rounds. In the last round, Tian played against Wang Chenxu, who is under seven years old and has won 4 and lost 1 in previous rounds. Finally, Tian won the championship, and Wang came second. Fang Xingzhi won the championship in the 9-year-old group with a perfect score, while Wang Chenlin won the title in the 11-year-old group, beating many 5th-dan players in the group.

7岁组田浩然前5轮保持全胜，最后一轮关键之战对阵4胜1负、不满7岁的王晨旭，最终田浩然惊险获得冠军，王晨旭屈居亚军。方行知在9岁组中一枝独秀，以全胜成绩夺得冠军。11岁组5段高手云集，最终王晨霖摘得桂冠。

The event came to an end in the afternoon of the Feb. 12. According to the event's rules, the top three players of each group and the women's champions will be selected for the next Henan Provincial Weiqi Junior Training Team.

12日下午，在颁奖仪式结束后，本次选拔赛圆满落下帷幕。根据规程，获得各组前三名以及女子冠军的棋手将入选新一届河南省围棋少年集训队。

The trial was sponsored by Henan Weiqi Association and organized by Henan Yizaiqi Culture Communication Co. and Zhengzhou Jianzhang Weiqi Museum.

本次比赛由河南省围棋协会主办，河南意在其文化传播有限公司、郑州建彰围棋博物馆承办。
