More rare animals attracted as Henan's wetland conservation improves
Recently, the Danjiang Wetland National Nature Reserve in Central China's Henan Province has seen four kinds of wild animals under national level 1 protection, including Ciconia nigra, Mergus squamatus, Aythya baeri and Otis tarda, and seven kinds of Class II protected animals, including Grus grus, Sibirionetta formosa, and Mergellus albellus. Up to now, eight kinds of national Class I key protected animals and 73 kinds of national Class II key protected animals have been found in the reserve.
