Folk Customs of the Chinese New Year④
It's time to prepare meat on the 26th day of the twelfth lunar month for the Spring Festival. People usually go to the market to buy a lump of pork which is called "Nian Rou"(New Year's meat). Then the "New Year's meat" will be braised with brown sauce, heralding the prosperity of the coming year. (Hihenan/Zhang Rui)
