Idioms originated in Henan|
The idiom is from Biography of Female Immortals(nv xian zhuan). During the Warring States Period, Bian Que, a legendary TCM doctor, traveled through the Guo State (near Lingbao County, Henan Province today). When he heard that the crown prince had "died" of acute disease in the morning, he went to the palace to give medical treatment and bring the dying prince back to life. Chinese people use the idiom to describe someone's excellent medical skills or renewed hope.
