Over the past decade, Zhumadian, Central China's Henan, has enjoyed impressive progress in society and the economy, and thriving endeavors in many sectors. It was titled the national garden city, the national forest city, and the national model city for building a law-based government. Moreover, the city's GDP has exceeded 3,000 billion yuan, its total retail sales of consumer goods have increased to 109.6 billion yuan, and it has 22 provincial agricultural industrialization clusters, ranking first in Henan Province.
