Over the past decade, the GDP of Sanmenxia in Central China's Henan has increased by 7.5% annually, the urbanization rate has risen to 58.03%, and 224,000 poor people have emerged from poverty. Moreover, the city's wetland area of the Yellow River has reached 427,500 mu, and the number of white swans coming there for wintering each year has exceeded 16,000, accounting for more than two-thirds of China.
