Anyang is one of the eight ancient cities in China, the birthplace of the oracle bone inscriptions, home to the "Man-made River from Heaven"-the Red Flag Canal, and the only city in Henan Province included in the BTH Coordinated Development. Its GDP was up to 243.547 billion yuan in 2021,1.4 times that of 2012, and the cumulative expenditure on people's livelihood has exceeded 237.59 billion yuan over the past ten years.
